What we collect, and why.

Information you give us

• Account details when you sign up or sign in, such as your email address and password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Profile information you choose to add, such as a display name.
• Messages you send us, for example a correction request.

Preferences and favourites

Your favourite matches, teams and competitions, your bookmaker country choice and your timezone preference are stored so the site works the way you left it. When you are signed out these stay on your device; when you are signed in they are saved to your account so they follow you across devices.

Technical and usage data

Like most websites, we receive standard technical data such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from your connection or, with your permission, your device location for timezone accuracy, and aggregated usage measurement of which pages and features are used. We use this to keep the service secure, fast and relevant.

Why we process it

• To run your account, sign-in and favourites.
• To send the match alerts you opt in to, and only those.
• To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse.
• To understand which content is useful and improve it.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to host the site, run our database and authentication, deliver push notifications and supply football data. They process information on our instructions and only to deliver those services. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and preference data for as long as it is useful to you. Access is restricted, data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and database access is protected by row-level security rules. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Your choices

• Update or remove favourites and profile details from your account page at any time.
• Turn push notifications on or off in your notification settings, or in your browser or device settings.
• Clear your browser's site data to remove locally stored preferences.
• Ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it.

Links to bookmakers and other sites

When you follow an outbound link you leave ChekiScores. That site's own privacy policy applies, and we have no control over how it handles your data.

Children and 18+ content

ChekiScores is not intended for children. Betting-related content is for adults aged 18 or over who are of legal age in their own country, and accounts should not be created by anyone under that age.

Changes

If our handling of information changes, this page will be updated to reflect it.
